This distinction celebrates our purpose of moving people through the wonders of sport — as we work to create a positive impact, connect communities, and support sustainable development goals alongside like-minded brands.

Since the creation of the Decathlon Foundation in 2005, we’ve supported around 980 projects across 53 countries, impacting an estimated 580,000 beneficiaries. And the purpose remains on moving people in vulnerable situations, and sharing the joy and transformative power of sports. While there’s much more to be done, we’re proud of each step we take forward.

Rentals for Rubbish – the world is our playground, and it’s time to protect it!

At Decathlon, we believe that sport has the power to unite communities. 
Last month, we proudly partnered with Planet Patrol for Rentals for Rubbish, an initiative launched during World Cleanup Day. Over a 2-week mission, communities across the UK traded litter for discounts on sports equipment rentals.

Together, we logged 4,798 pieces of litter - 83% of which was plastic - helping to clean up our playgrounds and safeguard our oceans. Every action matters and we all have a role to play in reducing our impact on the planet. 

The mission continues. Let’s keep moving - for sport and future generations.

Wheelchair Rugby at the Paralympic Games has come to an end.

And while it wasn't the finish we hoped for, we're proud of our Decathlon Athlete, Jonathan Hivernat, for leading the French National Team to 5th place.

Wheelchair rugby is a sport of grit, determination, and relentless effort - a fast-paced and hard-hitting game that demands both physical and mental strength.

1st day of competition and 1st medal!

Congratulations to Marie PATOUILLET on winning the silver medal in para-cycling track, what a fantastic start for our Decathlon Athlete Team!
