This collaboration will see DECATHLON become Sarr's official technical partner and exclusive shoe supplier, highlighting the brand's commitment to supporting top athletic talent and innovation in sports performance gear.

Alex Sarr, 2nd-overall pick during the 2024 NBA draft, is an exciting addition to the Washington Wizards and the NBA. Before joining the Wizards, Sarr showcased his talent with several prominent clubs, including the Perth Wildcats in Australia's NBL, Overtime Elite, and Real Madrid’s youth team in Spain. His international experience and impressive performances have solidified his reputation as a rising star in basketball. As Decathlon's ambassador, he embodies the brand's commitment to making the sport accessible to all.

As part of the partnership, Alex Sarr will collaborate with Decathlon’s R&D teams to develop and refine high-performance basketball shoes and apparel. This collaboration aims to push the boundaries of sports technology, ensuring athletes of all levels can benefit from the advancements made through Sarr’s feedback and on-court experiences.

The partnership will also include community engagement initiatives, where Alex Sarr and DECATHLON will host basketball clinics and events aimed at nurturing young talents and promoting an active lifestyle. These efforts underscore the shared commitment to giving back to the community and fostering a love for sports among the youth.
