DECATHLON presents new groundbreaking technology experiences on Apple Vision Pro

DECATHLON, the world’s leading sporting goods retailer and global multi-specialist sports brand, announces the launch of three innovative new apps dedicated to Apple Vision Pro. 

Designed to elevate the experience for both Apple Vision Pro users and DECATHLON’s customers, the new apps enable them to explore, select, and purchase DECATHLON products by visualizing them in 3D and real size within their environment of choice, and even learn the stories behind each item.

  • Simply named DECATHLON, the first app is featured in the Shopping space of the Apple Vision Pro across France, Germany, and the UK. The app allows users to browse DECATHLON’s online catalog and purchase the right items for their sporting adventures.
  • The second app, DECATHLON Innovation, launched in the UK and France, highlights the latest groundbreaking products, providing users with a deeper understanding of the technological advancements behind their favorite sports equipment.
  • The third app, Quechua Virtual Showroom, will be exclusively available at the DECATHLON Surrey Quays store in London. It will enable clients to virtually test and select their ideal products, making their shopping experience more interactive and engaging.

The new immersive apps join the existing DECATHLON shopping app, which has been available in Japan since June 28, 2024, and in the United States since February 2, 2024.

Pushing the boundaries of technology

Specifically created for Apple Vision Pro, the Innovation and Quechua Virtual Showroom apps join the reimagined Shopping app, already available for the iOS application. The new apps enable clients to explore DECATHLON’s latest innovations and shop for their favorite sporting goods. It also enhances them through immersive technology, whether it addresses casual sports enthusiasts or professional athletes. 

By delivering a brand-new shopping experience, DECATHLON transforms how customers shop and interact with products they are interested in, whether at home or in the store. This new shopping experience was made possible thanks to the strong collaboration between DECATHLON’s engineering team and Apple’s team.
